Changes Has Been a 50+ East Bay Awards Winner
The time is upon us again! Voting has begun for Diablo Magazine’s Best of the East Bay. Any business around knows the prestige and extra confidence boost that comes with being acknowledged by this vote. Its results boast a wide arrangement of businesses including restaurants, fitness centers, local tours, craft shops, and what we’re all here for… Salons and Spas!
For over 30 years, Changes has collected a variety of Best of the East Bay awards that have contributed to our admittance into Diablo Magazine’s Hall of Fame.
We’ve had each of our departments recognized multiple times, as well as many of our technicians and services recognized specifically in the awards.
We’re so proud of the team that has made Changes a 50+ East Bay Awards winner, and are excited to continue the legacy!
On that note, you can help! Voting only takes a couple minutes and helps contribute to local businesses around you. All entries this year will be entered to win a 3-night luxurious Hawaiian vacation.
One of our employees won this trip a few years ago, and said it was FABULOUS! But enough about this year. We’re taking a blast to the past to just savor the success and journey we’ve had so far and put all those good vibes out for the future!
A little back story- Changes has evolved over three decades to become what it is now, and over that time been rated by Diablo Magazine’s ever-changing voting options.
Each year they look for a little bit of a different take on ‘best of’ businesses… sometimes they ask for Best Spa, sometimes Best Manicurist, sometimes not… it’s always evolving a little bit. For example, this year we apply to the categories of Best Women’s Hair Salon, Nail Salon, and Day Spa!

The voting has changed year to year, but our continued presence and commitment to providing a wonderful Changes experience has stayed constant.
We are so fond of Diablo Magazine and what it provides our community, and we’re thrilled to be acknowledged as a valued piece of our local area. Time will go on, and votes will change, but we’re happy to be here and excited for this year’s Best of the East Bay results.
